Nadia & Seth - Rancho Valencia, Rancho Santa Fe

This was a fun wedding - and something different. Seth & Nadia eloped from Michigan to California. The wedding was just the two of them, an officiant, a guitar player and me. I actually served as the witness and signed their marriage certificate! Though the ceremony was small, it was still moving and emotional. It was a great moment and the setting perfect. After the wedding, the two sat down for a very intimate and romantic dinner all by themselves in a private room at the resort. (Because the wedding took place during the week, it was easy for me to work into my schedule and I didn't have to charge my regular rate.) Usually, I'm photographing 500 people wedding bashes on this same spot so it was a nice change.
